♣ Happy St. Patty's Day!! ♣

We had lots of fun on St. Patty's Day! Alyssa and Gavin got to play at Cedar Grove Park with their friend Mattie! After lunch we then decided instead of just playing in the backyard we should take off our clothes and get all wet!! Good times!! :)

Irvine Regional Park

As we were all walking to the zoo we got up close and personal to a peacock!

Fun times with Amo and Papa!!

On Saturday we spent the morning at Irvine Regional Park. We got to go to the zoo, ride the train, and the pony!! :) Daddy had to work all weekend so Mommy was so happy that Amo and Papa could come visit and help Mommy with the kiddos!

Mister Gavin has been into everything lately! Lots of bumps and bruises! :( But he's having fun!

We came across this bee hive while on one of our walks. This was our first time seeing one up close and personal!

After Amo and Papa got settled in we took the kids to the park! Wee!!

Well i have not taken photos in a while! I am pretty good at forgetting my camera lately, but i hope to have some posted after this weekend. :)
We have had lots of walks, play dates, and fun at the park lately...so we have all been keeping pretty busy! Alyssa is talking more everyday and for the past month in a half or so has conquered using the potty!! Gavin is getting 3 molars all at once and doing the best he can with that. Tylenol and teething tablets definitely do wonders for not only him, but our ears too! hehe :)

♥ Happy Valentine's Day!! ♥

Happy Valentine's Day family and friends!! This morning Daddy, Alyssa and Gavin decided they were going to bring home some donuts for breakfast!! Such a yummy treat for all of us!! Afterwords we opened up cards and Alyssa and Gavin got a little special "hug-a-saurus" for V-day! They enjoyed or should i say Alyssa enjoyed hugging it all day long!

Daddy had another surprise up his sleeve... an Edible Arrangement!! If you have never had one you have to try one sometime!! They are so delicious!! Of course we have especially enjoyed eating the chocolate dipped strawberries....who wouldn't!! :)

After the Alyssa and Gavin's naps Grandma stopped by for a bit to play while Mommy and Daddy got to go out to a movie! We were not going to go out at all cuz Daddy had to work last night, but we decided to sneak away for a couple hours since we did have Grandma to watch the kiddos! We all had a very fun day and we hope you did too! ♥

Silly Fun

Over the past week there hasn't been too much going on in the LeBlanc household cuz Mommy was pretty sick! We were able to get some fun in before that all happened though! Alyssa and Gavin were enjoying running around the house with their zoo buckets on their heads as hats! Then as you will see below my new toddler has become quiet the daredevil with standing on things... actually anything and everything he can stand on he will! When i look at him and say "Gavin!" He just looks up with a big smile!
Now... one really, really great thing that has happened since i was housebound the past week was... Alyssa is now potty trained! It was a challenge the first couple days, but as of this past Sunday Alyssa will only go to the bathroom in the potty!!! This has been such a huge and happy milestone for us! Our little girl is becoming such a big girl now!! We had to share the news! :)

SD Zoo with Grandma!!

On the weekend of January 31st we went to the SD Zoo with Grandma!! Alyssa and Gavin had a blast to have someone else come along with them besides Mom and Dad! hehe :)

Chinese New Year Fun!!

On Monday our friends Sylvie and Nadine invited us over in celebration of Chinese New Year! Alyssa was quite fond of Sylvie's awesome animal table! As you can see she loved the elephant chair!



I was able to get a shot of the whole gang!! Looks like everyone was enjoying their food and drinks!! Thank you so much Sylvie for inviting us over!! We had a blast!

Party Time!!!!!

We had quiet an end to Gavin's birthday weekend with a wonderful party that took place at Grandma and Papa's house. Close friends and family joined in celebrating with us all the joys we have shared in the past year! The second time around seemed to come by rather quickly and i can't seem to find where the time has disappeared to except that i know i am feeling older! hehe!

Happy 1st Birthday Gavin!!!

Well it is now official... Gavin is 1 year old and now a toddler!!! It brings so much joy to our hearts to see our children grow and learn so much day by day. But amongst all this joy brings a little sadness... for me i say its bittersweet... part of me doesn't want him to stop being a baby... but then at the same time you are glad they are becoming more independent. We are all excited to see what new changes lye ahead.

I wanted to include a picture of Gavin the day he was born... exactly a year ago today. I was so happy when he arrived that the first few minutes i could not stop crying tears of joy... yes, it is a mom thing for those of you that have not had the experience of mommy hood yet. :)

Future American Idol Contestant....

On Friday our friend Brooke stopped by and Alyssa felt compelled to sing her heart out to her! We were amazed! Alyssa went into her room to put on her dress up shoes, then she picked up the maraca to use it as a mic and started singing!! It was beautiful!!! :)
