LeBlanc Christmas

On December 23rd we celebrated Kamma's birthday along with Christmas before leaving to visit my family for the holidays!! We all received a lot of pretty cool things for Christmas!!

Family Christmas Party!!

We were all invited to have a yummy Christmas dinner at Brian's Uncle's home where Gavin got to meet some family for the first time!

Alyssa pulled the bow out of her hair, but i think she just likes to go for the crazy curl look!!

Gavin met his Great Uncle Clyde for the first time yesterday! He really enjoyed holding him!! Gavin is finally starting to be okay with someone other than Mommy holding him 24/7!

Just the 4 of us...

We ended up having the kids open up their Christmas presents on Sunday morning because this year we are going up to Fresno to spend the holiday with my family and it was just going to be too much stuff to bring!!! But i know the kids did not mind opening them up a few days early... :)

This was our Christmas tree... we normally get a real tree, but with Gavin being 11 months now and walking we really didn't want all the trouble that comes along with a big tree and children... so we downsized it to fit on the table!

Alyssa wanted to cook us some breakfast... hotdogs... mmm lol!!

Yah, score!!! Already getting him conditioned for multiple sports!!

Aquarium of the Pacific

Our friends Sylvie and Nadine had a free pass to the aquarium so they were so kind to invite us to join them along with our friends Jenny and Mattie!! We all had such a good time! Alyssa was amazed by all the seals that kept swimming right by us.

Gavin was in his stroller the whole time, but he enjoyed having so many things to look at!! Thankfully it kept him pretty occupied! :)

San Diego Zoo

Over the weekend and on a whim we decided to take the kids to the Zoo!! It was a blast!!!!! The elephants were the first animals we went to visit and Alyssa was in awe of them. She did not want to leave them and actually wanted to try and climb the fence to be with them! Gavin was looking around like "where the heck am i?" But he did so well with having to stay in the stroller as long as he did!! Alyssa also found a new love for hippos! She was amazed at how big these creatures are!!! We had to tell her the hippos and elephants were taking naps so we could go look at the other animals... by the end of the day we had a few more animals to visit but had to leave because it started to rain like cats and dogs!! Luckily for Alyssa and Gavin we bought the membership so we can have fun any day we choose!! :)

Play Time!!

Even though it was cold on Friday we had a play date with our friends Mattie and Jenny! We decided to go for a walk and play at the park!!

Alyssa and Mattie were having fun chasing one another. The only bummer was the slides were wet, but i didn't notice because i was pushing Gavin in the swing... so when Alyssa went down her butt was drenched in water! lol

Of course when i get a good pic of Alyssa smiling it doesnt come out clear! lol :)

Walking!!

If you haven't already heard the news... Gavin started taking steps here and there about a month ago, but for the past week and a half he has been walking... A LOT! Not 100% mastered, but he's not far from it!! Our little man is growing up so fast! Thinking back to January, when he was born, he has changed so much!!! I am very excited that he is walking, but at the same time a little part of me misses both of my babies being so small! Enjoy the clips!! :)

Aaron's 1st Birthday Party

I forgot to take my camera out earlier, but i was able to get a good picture of Aaron munching on his cupcake!! Such a cutie!!!

This monkey cake was so delicious!! Thank you Aaron for inviting us to your 1st birthday party!!! We had a blast!! :)

Elephants!

Just wanted to share... as I am sure most of you already know, but as soon as Alyssa watched Dumbo for the first time she became in love with elephants!! When we were dining at the Rainforest Cafe the other day our friend felt compelled to buy this for Alyssa, which was so sweet of her!! You should have seen the look on Alyssa's face when she saw it... priceless!!

We were all invited to celebrate our friend Brooke's birthday at the Rainforest Cafe!! Alyssa and Gavin had so much fun looking at all the beautiful scenery!! They had tons of tropical fish, a Gorilla that came to life and also thundershowers!! They really enjoyed it!!

Although Alyssa may not look happy here she really loved the Gorilla! She sat on him a couple times with Alley while we waited to be seated.

This was the only pic i got of Gavin :( But he really loved the restaurant too!!

Woodbridge Park

We decided to make a family trip to Woodbridge Park today so Alyssa and Gavin could see the ducks and play. It was pretty awesome because right before this picture was taken we saw this duck dart underwater and come up with a fish... then it swallowed it whole! We had never seen a duck in action like that!

Alyssa is such a big girl now. She kept climbing these bars to get up to the slide... then she was sliding down on her tummy, feet first! She had a blast!

I was pushing Gavin in the swing... i love this picture cuz it looks like he is creeping up behind something!

Look at my little man!! Everyday he seems to be walking more... i think by Christmas we are going to have someone chasing after Alyssa... :)

We were going over this big bridge while looking out onto the water. It was beautiful!! Alyssa was pointing out the 2 huge swans we saw just chilling on the grass.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Another Thanksgiving has come and gone so quickly! Our family goes on rotation for each holiday (since my parents live in Fresno) and this year Gavin got to spend his 1st Thanksgiving with Grandma and Papa! We were very thankful to eat a huge and yummy dinner and dessert(s)!!

Alyssa had so much fun with her cousin Sean! Brian tried to "contain" them long enough so i could take a picture!

Aunt Diana was in love with Gavin! I think its safe to say that she got her baby fix!! lol

Alyssa and Gavin have so much fun with Auntie Ashley!! Alyssa especially loves this cuz Mommy doesn't let her do this at home! LOL!

I really wanted to take some pictures with Daddy since we don't normally... this was one of the better pictures that turned out since Daddy either gives dirty looks or silly, really silly, faces. :)

Friends Thanksgiving 2008

Friends Thanksgiving is a tradition that our new friends have been doing over the years and they were so kind to invite our family to join in on the fun! Alyssa and Gavin had so much fun playing with their friends Aaron, Mattie, Sylvie and two other kiddos they just met for the first time... Skylar and Isaac!

Alyssa was playing on Aarons car/push toy... i have no idea what you'd call it but she would not get off of it once she discovered it! I think Mattie was trying help out and push Alyssa.

Drinking buddies already! If my camera would have taken the picture faster it would have shown Aaron drinking with Gavin! It was so cute!

Besides the black on the left side of this picture i think Gavin looks like he's saying "hello"! So cute! :)

The ladies do this every year so before everyone left for the night we struck a pose for the camera!! You can see Alyssa's hair in this pic!

My camera was actually able to capture Gavin standing on his own... he has taken 1 or 2 steps forward and then drops to the ground. I think our little man will be chasing his sister around before we know it!
