Woodbridge Park

We decided to make a family trip to Woodbridge Park today so Alyssa and Gavin could see the ducks and play. It was pretty awesome because right before this picture was taken we saw this duck dart underwater and come up with a fish... then it swallowed it whole! We had never seen a duck in action like that!

Alyssa is such a big girl now. She kept climbing these bars to get up to the slide... then she was sliding down on her tummy, feet first! She had a blast!

I was pushing Gavin in the swing... i love this picture cuz it looks like he is creeping up behind something!

Look at my little man!! Everyday he seems to be walking more... i think by Christmas we are going to have someone chasing after Alyssa... :)

We were going over this big bridge while looking out onto the water. It was beautiful!! Alyssa was pointing out the 2 huge swans we saw just chilling on the grass.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Another Thanksgiving has come and gone so quickly! Our family goes on rotation for each holiday (since my parents live in Fresno) and this year Gavin got to spend his 1st Thanksgiving with Grandma and Papa! We were very thankful to eat a huge and yummy dinner and dessert(s)!!

Alyssa had so much fun with her cousin Sean! Brian tried to "contain" them long enough so i could take a picture!

Aunt Diana was in love with Gavin! I think its safe to say that she got her baby fix!! lol

Alyssa and Gavin have so much fun with Auntie Ashley!! Alyssa especially loves this cuz Mommy doesn't let her do this at home! LOL!

I really wanted to take some pictures with Daddy since we don't normally... this was one of the better pictures that turned out since Daddy either gives dirty looks or silly, really silly, faces. :)

Friends Thanksgiving 2008

Friends Thanksgiving is a tradition that our new friends have been doing over the years and they were so kind to invite our family to join in on the fun! Alyssa and Gavin had so much fun playing with their friends Aaron, Mattie, Sylvie and two other kiddos they just met for the first time... Skylar and Isaac!

Alyssa was playing on Aarons car/push toy... i have no idea what you'd call it but she would not get off of it once she discovered it! I think Mattie was trying help out and push Alyssa.

Drinking buddies already! If my camera would have taken the picture faster it would have shown Aaron drinking with Gavin! It was so cute!

Besides the black on the left side of this picture i think Gavin looks like he's saying "hello"! So cute! :)

The ladies do this every year so before everyone left for the night we struck a pose for the camera!! You can see Alyssa's hair in this pic!

Laundry Basket

My camera was actually able to capture Gavin standing on his own... he has taken 1 or 2 steps forward and then drops to the ground. I think our little man will be chasing his sister around before we know it!

My two cutie pies in a basket! Alyssa has a love for elephants which is adorable to us and Gavin just loves doing anything with his sister!

Halloween Pictures

Let me start off by saying... taking your own Halloween pictures with 2 children is quiet a job!! If one looked cute the other was looking in a different direction, or moving, or running around, or trying to take off their costume! It was pretty funny though! :)

We got a visitor...

On Sunday Grandma came by to play with Alyssa and Gavin!! They had a good time! This picture just makes me want a new camera lol... the kids will be making cute faces, but by the time our camera decides to take the picture their faces have completely changed!

Rockin

I thought it was so cute that Alyssa wanted to pile up our blankets and rock in our rocking chair with her brother! This was something she wanted to do all morning! Just when you think they are giving you a hard time, they turn right around and do something that just makes the hard parts disappear! :)

Tri-City Park

Last weekend we wanted to take the kids by the Brea Mall and Tri-City Park for a change of scenery! This was the part of OC we used to live in!

Tri-City includes the cities of Placentia, Fullerton, and Brea. It's a big park with all types of ducks and geese, a play area and even tables you can reserve for parties!

Daddy had to keep a close eye on Alyssa... she was ready to walk right into the water!

Tanaka Farms...

Well... this was our first trip to Tanaka Farms in Irvine... but unfortunately we did not stay very long! It was just one of those days... i didn't listen to the news to see what the weather was going to be, which going forward i will!! It was really HOT, Alyssa was in black (trying to be Halloween-ish), i forgot the sun-screen, we were all cranky... it just wasnt the best time. Hopefully when we go back it will be cooler weather and we will be in happier moods! But, i did want to share some of the pictures because they turned out cute with all the orange pumpkins in the background!

Alyssa found a pumpkin she could hold and Mattie was checkin it out!

My little man is looking like "get me outta here mom!" I didnt want to take him out of his shady stroller cuz it was soooo hot! Shortly after this picture we went home! lol

Playin Around!

Mommy decided to take a picture of her and Gavin since she is always the one behind the camera! Mommy had one with Alyssa too that was cute, but almost half of her face was cut out!

Alyssa has a tight grip on her new stuff animal sea turtles. She had intentions of getting the blue one for Gavin, but decided she changed her mind!

Curiousity

This was the morning it was still so windy! Alyssa was looking out at the mess that was created on our patio! Gavin decided he was going to get into some trouble. Besides toys the entertainment center is his favorite to pull himself up on, help him walk across and of course open the drawers!!

Irvine Spectrum

Saturday we decided to go to The Irvine Spectrum and hang out! Mommy is actually in a photo!

Daddy was sitting back with Lyssa while she enjoyed the sounds of the water! She loves walking around the fountains and throwing coins in or dunking her hands in! Gavin was sitting back with Mommy just enjoying being outside!

Daddy took Alyssa on the carousel while Mommy and Gavin stayed back to take a picture of them! Alyssa was blowing kisses to us! If she could have a pony she definitely would!!

Irvine Park and Pumpkin Patch Continued...
